What types of gifts do you offer during sorority recruitment?

We offer two gift options:

  • Bid Day Packages and Florals – Delivered after Bid Day to the new member’s sorority house
  • Rush Week Happies – Good luck gifts available for pickup and delivery at Glow during rush week

What is a Bid Day Gift?

A Bid Day Gift is a celebratory surprise delivered to a new sorority member after she receives her bid. Deliveries are made based on each sorority’s scheduled time approved by the University of Alabama Panhellenic Association.

When will Bid Day Gifts be delivered?

All Bid Day gifts will be delivered after Bid Day, beginning Monday, August 18, 2025 based on each sorority's designated delivery time per UA Panhellenic. No deliveries are Allowed on Bid Day itself. We will post the official Bid Day Schedule on our website as soon as it becomes available.

If I place an order on Bid Day, will it be delivered during the scheduled bid day delivery day?

Orders placed on or after Bid Day will be scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. While we will do our best to deliver during the designated Bid Day delivery window, we cannot guarantee it. But we promise we will try!

What is the order deadline?

The deadline to order Bid Day gifts for delivery is August 17, 2025. Orders are filled in the order they are received, so we recommend ordering early. Orders received after August 17, 2025, will be delivered on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. If we can deliver your gift during the designated delivery schedule, we will certainly do our best.

What if the gift includes a sold-out item?

If an item sells out, it will be replaced with a product of equal or greater value. Exchanges may be made for other Greek merchandise only.

What if my daughter doesn’t receive a bid?

If her name is not on the official bid list, we’ll contact you. You may choose to send her a non-Greek gift (“happy”) or request a refund.

What if she doesn’t accept her bid?

Please contact us immediately. If we aren’t notified, the gift will still be delivered based on the sorority’s delivery schedule.

How will you know her sorority?

We receive the official bid lists directly from the University of Alabama Panhellenic Association on Bid Day. This is how we determine which sorority to deliver to.

What if she can’t find her gift?

With hundreds of gifts being delivered, some may get misplaced. Encourage her to double-check. Once delivered, we cannot retrieve or relocate gifts. If there are any issues, please give us a call.

What is a Rush Week Happy?

These are thoughtful gifts to wish your student luck during recruitment. They are available for pickup or delivery at Glow throughout rush week.
